Information about Internet Safety and Homework Help on our Library Page
Exploring the web and using the Internet are two of many tools to use in conducting research. Did you know that Fairview's Web site has information about Internet safety, using search engines and more? For more information, go to our Library Media Center Page.
Check out the Kids College Web site!
KIDS COLLEGE is a web site that reinforces reading & math skills, grades K-6.
Each class has a code that the student enters, then selects his / her name from a list, enters their student ID number. Select a subject, the site will prompt some other choices, like a team & a player.
Students get to play a sport for each 6 questions they answer correctly. Teachers get reports of student progress (parents do too, if requested through your teacher.)
We are considering buying it, but need parental input.
Look on the LMC webpage for the class codes. This is a fun way to learn while playing sports. Click here to get your class code.
How to log in:
go to kclogin.com
enter class code
select student from the list
enter student ID # for password (can get from teacher or Power School)
You can email mail your student's teacher, Herr Hayes or Frau Mulligan with your opinions and comments. (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com).
